Most universities offer financial aid to undergrad international students. However, “maximum” aid is not very common. In fact, you shouldn’t count on financial aid covering a large portion of the tuition, you’re likely going to have to pay for it yourself. That’s just how it goes, education is an investment- you have to pay for it now in order to benefit from it in the future.
That said, our Directory does list some great schools that often offer lots of great scholarships. You should check it out. But unless you can secure enough money ahead of time, you should consider other options, like taking out a loan or studying in a less expensive school than the top ones.

Most need-based bursaries and financial aid actually come from the government, which would only sponsor domestic students in most cases. However, some scholarships do take both academics and financial need into account, so as odd as it sounds you have a better chance to get a scholarship if you’re smart and poor than if you’re smart and rich. Again, please check out our Directory, the featured schools often have good scholarship programs.
